Laura is a long-term lover of all things scaly and slimy. Her research uses the strategy of “One Health” to help achieve optimal health for people, animals, and the environment. The goal of her research is to help save declining reptile and amphibian species by creating a new approach to health assessment. She is combining math, science and medicine to save the world one Eastern Box Turtle at a time.
