Info City lecture: Darrell Hoemann
From Matt Beth
Darrell Hoemann, local photographer and retired News-Gazette photo editor, will give a talk titled, "Photography shifted from film to files," at this Info City event.
Now in its ninth year, the Info City Lectures are hosted by the iSchool's Community Informatics Research Lab headed by Associate Professor Kate Williams. Begun as the Digital Divide Lecture Series, the series looks at how everyday people in varied arenas are navigating the digital age with all its new ways of working and living. It acknowledges that librarians and information professionals can and must keep up with how people are learning and using technology in actual communities.
