Mr. Demura presides over Konel, a creator group that produces a series of artworks that make you imagine the future.
In the summer of 2022, he will open a brain wave purchase center 《BWTC》 in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, as a contemporary art work.
The center uses automated purchasing equipment to purchase brain waves from participants, convert them into paintings, and sell them as a series of artworks, with over 1,000 citizens participating in 10 days.
Who creates art and for what purpose? Where does its value lie?
