Becoming a Trans Inclusive Library | Classifying Trans People with K. R. Roberto

K.R. Roberto is a trans library researcher and former academic librarian who specialized in cataloging and serials management. He has completed the requirements for the PhD in Library and Information Science and is expected to graduate in May 2021. Building on our prior discussions of collection development, K.R. will lead a discussion on issues relating to classifying and cataloging trans-related materials and what those classifications mean to trans library patrons. Facilitated by Spencer D. C. Keralis, Founder and Executive Director of Digital Frontiers, and Principal Investigator of the Becoming a Trans Inclusive Library Project.
