The August Office Hours turned the spotlight on the broader campus ecosystem supporting research. Presenters highlighted the Library’s network of subject specialists and digital resources, IHSI’s programs in biostatistics, community partnerships, and clinical collaborations, Illinois Computes’ major investment in AI notebooks and secure computing, and the Office of the CIO’s role as a connector across IT and research services. The session emphasized how these units collectively provide researchers with the knowledge, infrastructure, and expertise needed to succeed. Rather than scattered services, Illinois now offers a cohesive support system where resources and people are aligned to meet researchers wherever they are in their journey.
