Bill Geist address at 2005 Commencement

Bill Geist, journalist, best-selling author, Emmy Award winner, and Champaign native speaks at Commencement in 2005. Geist was a combat photographer with the U.S. Army in Vietnam, and earned a Bronze Star. He graduated from Champaign Central High School and the University of Illinois, with a Bachelor's degree in Communication. He received his Masters in Communication from the University of Missouri. He has worked as a reporter and columnist for the Chicago Tribune and the New York Times and served as a correspondent and commentator at CBS.
