How do you find the story within the story, capture emotion and preserve moments that transcend time? Award-winning photojournalist Fred Zwicky will share simple approaches that can help elevate your storytelling.
Photojournalist Fred Zwicky has documented life in central Illinois for more than 25 years. Currently, he is senior photographer for the University of Illinois. Prior to that, he was visual news editor at the Journal Star in Peoria.
Zwicky has won numerous awards; including: three-time Illinois Press Photographers Photographer of the Year, two-time National Press Photographers Region Five Photographer of the Year, three-time winner of the Illinois Associated Press Editors Sweepstakes Award for Best Photograph of the Year, as well as being a top-ranked photographer in the University Photographers’ Association of America.
Zwicky now focuses on telling the many and varied stories of the more than 50,000 students, staff and faculty who comprise the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
