Participants’ eating pattern was improved over the 6-month intervention in the EMPOWER program. As intended, the eating window and evening snacking were decreased, whereas eating breakfast was increased. Participants who eliminated evening snacks were more successful in weight loss, suggesting the benefit of this approach.
