Introducing the Campus cPanel Web Hosting Service
If you've been looking for free, flexible on-campus web hosting, the campus cPanel-based web hosting service is here for you! cPanel is the control system that lets you manage websites and databases hosted on the web.illinois.edu platform. cPanel offers a wide range of web hosting options to students, faculty, and staff, as well as offering easy collaboration with non-University partners through Google authentication. cPanel offers you a wide variety of web applications, many of which are easily created and maintained through a web-based interface. Hosting your website at web.illinois.edu offers more flexibility and power than publish.illinois.edu, while also offering automatic updates with less complexity than direct hosting on AWS or Azure.

The cPanel Web Hosting team will introduce you to the highlights of the cPanel system, explain about the "reseller" system that allows departments or groups to coordinate management of groups of sites, and answer questions about what we offer and at what price (hint: it's free!)
