Dhawal shares how he is creating sunlight activated, smart coating systems that can help oil pipelines heal themselves when they corrode. He is a third year PhD Candidate in Mechanical Engineering. His primary research focuses on developing smart multifunctional coating systems that can autonomously self-heal or self-protect in response to damage.
