DESCRIPTION:
Follow along as media producers from CITL walk you through steps from start to finish to record videos from your home, office, or anywhere using Open Broadcaster Software (OBS), a freely available software. There will be tips and tricks for advanced users as well as those who have never made a video before.
PRESENTERS:
Andrew Stengele is an event media producer at CITL. He graduated from Illinois with a degree in computer science and has been with the university for eleven years. He is responsible for livestreaming and recording campus events, special lectures, performances, and commencements.
Adam Ruud is a fourteen-year veteran of the video production industry, starting before he graduated from Purdue University in 2010. Adam first worked for Hall of Music Productions at Purdue doing various tasks, including video engineering, video editing, and graphic design for a variety of projects used at sports games (football and basketball), ESPN, and the Big Ten Network. For the past three months, Adam has worked as an instructional media producer for CITL on various university projects. In his spare time, Adam loves to cook, stream video games through OBS, create graphics in After Effects, and hang out with his puppy, Bama.
