Often, people are unaware that they seem low energy; they feel perfectly normal, maybe even excited, about a topic, but when they speak on it the impression the audience gets is one of disinterest. This is due to the fact that most people misjudge how energetic they are. Think of your energy on a scale of 1-10. Where do you rate yourself? Chances are, no matter what number you gave yourself, the impression you make on an audience is usually 2-3 points below that.
