The June Office Hours marked the official launch of the new series hosted by the Office of the CIO Enablement Team and the Research Technology Support Community. The session introduced the vision of building a collaborative space where faculty, graduate students, and staff could ask questions, explore tools, and connect with experts. Speakers highlighted the growing need for secure solutions in areas such as health data, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and regulated research, while emphasizing that Illinois now offers a wide range of resources to meet those needs. The tone was one of empowerment: researchers were encouraged to plan early, seek support often, and view secure research as a bridge to faster and safer science.
