February 23, 2021 — Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Tyehimba Jess joins the One Book One Bronx program to discuss his second book, “Olio” (Wave Books, 2016), which weaves together sonnet, song, and narrative to examine the lives of mostly unrecorded African American performers directly before and after the Civil War up to World War I. Hosted by One Book One Bronx and Lehman College, City University of New York.
