Authentic Assessment: Designing Meaningful Evaluations for Student Learning

Developing skills and knowledge that can be used to succeed at real-world tasks is a strong source of motivation for many students. Authentic assessments conceptually mimic these tasks and are a more valid means of measuring learning objectives compared to conventional means of assessment. Please join us as we investigate using authentic assessment effectively in our courses.

This workshop introduces faculty to authentic assessment strategies that evaluate student learning through real-world applications rather than traditional exams.
