D1- Data Discovery with the ATLAS Data Services Center - Spring 2023 IT Pro Forum

The ATLAS Data Services Center application (DSC) provides a single service point for a wide range of data requests and is available to all members of the campus community. IT professionals may interact with campus users who are seeking data, but who need some basic support to make full use of the app's features. Come learn how to leverage the DSC to find data available from various units across campus. This workshop aims to familiarize attendees with the basic content, navigation, and search features of the app, as well as the process of gaining appropriate data access permissions and more customized support for data requests. Joel Swenddal, ATLAS Participants will learn the basic content, navigation methods, and report discovery features of the DSC to be able to familiarize others with the app, as needed. They will also learn how help others gain additional support for DSC questions from the ATLAS Data Team. Track Data: Management, Storage, or Analysis
