My History With Computers: 1976-1985, I reflect on my time at Rutgers working on my masters and Ph.D. degrees. During that time, I began using, unbeknownst to me, C programming, specifically doing Clocked Sequence Programming. This was a multi-year, deeply challenging, often failing work. But in collaboration with others, it also proved a glorious time of periodic failing forward, and ultimately achieving collaboratively what could never have been done alone. And as we move forward in the book, I hope this will serve as an example of the deepest learning objectives of the written, spoken, and demonstrated activities that will hopefully help you enter into collaborations with those around you in support of the activities in the book.
