Mentorship, Practice and Servant Leadership- South Asian American Leadership Conference 2021

Leadership development comes in many forms. Samarth Bhaskar will share lessons on the importance of mentorship, practice and servant leadership in his academic, professional and personal development while at UIUC and since graduation. Bhaskar will then moderate a discussion among attendees on their approaches to leadership development. 

Samarth Bhaskar is a data scientist and strategist. Until recently, he helped lead the digital transition of the New York Times newsroom. He has worked on data teams in politics, tech and media. Bhaskar was born in New Delhi, India, raised in Bloomington-Normal, IL and graduated from UIUC in 2010.
