Gamma Theta Upsilon welcomed alumnus Kevin Berg (MA 2012) back to the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Science at U of I to
discuss his work as a spatial epidemiologist with the Colorado
Department of Public Health and Environment in Denver, Colorado. Kevin
discussed a variety of issues he has
been tasked with tackling and the ways that he uses geospatial data
analysis to address those issues. He also discussed his career path and lessons from that journey
that could be of value to students pursing careers in GIS and public
health.
