Pathways to Implementing Computer Science in Schools
Providing computer science courses and opportunities for students can be accomplished through a variety of different approaches each requiring different levels of resources and teacher expertise. This panel will explore a few of these approaches including pathways to attaining a computer science endorsement at each grade band, dual enrollment / dual credit partnerships with community colleges, industry partnerships providing course materials and mentorship, and how to make use of the plethora of free computer science curricula and the barrier to entry for each program. Panelists will discuss how to plan and implement each strategy.
