Parinaz shares how biodegradable polymer stents are being developed to heal intestinal tears and obstructions. She is a third year Bioengineering PhD student and NPSC fellow working with Professor Dipanjan Pan in the Laboratory for Materials in Medicine. Her research focuses on the biomedical applications of materials, especially for imaging and therapeutic use.
