Loren Tate Oral History

Loren Tate played basketball for Illinois as a college student. Later, Loren was a lifelong sports journalist with the News-Gazette. Loren discusses his memories and impressions of the University, the University’s athletics program, and journalism. For example, Loren remembers when women’s athletic programs did not receive news coverage.
