This year reminded all of us just how quickly a world can change. We learned that it’s time to be impatient when it comes to the health of those who matter most.

It’s time for new treatments and innovations that help those we love - right now. It’s time to find equitable solutions that improve the human condition. It’s time for the first medical school built at the intersection of engineering and medicine.

It is time for the Carle Illinois College of Medicine at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
