The July Office Hours focused on survey and statistical support for researchers across campus. The session introduced REDCap as the HIPAA-capable, flexible platform for collecting and managing health and sensitive data, with features like longitudinal study support, mobile integration, and API functionality. In addition, the Survey & Data Consulting team highlighted their role in guiding survey design, statistical methods, and access to datasets, while also supporting tools such as Qualtrics, SPSS, SAS, Stata, R, and Python. The session made clear that researchers at Illinois are not left to navigate these tools alone—they have expert consultants available to guide them through every step of survey and data analysis.
