Meeting 5.2: Digging into quantum states

We dig into quantum states in more detail, but still somewhat informally. (We won't do any formal "quantum information" in this class, choosing instead to take a practical approach to pure states.) We discuss how to extract classical information from a quantum state via repeated measurement experiments. I give a first, contrived example of quantum speed-up: the Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm.
