Workshop description:
We'll explore social media's role in higher education communication strategy. We'll discuss the effort and resources assigned to social media channels compared to other products such as emails, websites, news articles, and print materials.
Speaker bio:
Annie F. Adams is an integrated communications strategist, social media manager, and designer with over ten years of experience. She works to create joy and inspire others to live their best lives by connecting them through shared narratives. Annie is a Digital Content Strategist in the Department of Computer Science at The Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Previously she worked for the Graduate College. Annie got her bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and a Master's Degree from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). She found her passion for higher education communication at Illinois.
