Dr. Lance E. Rodewald, MD (BS, ’76) gave a virtual talk entitled “Prevention and Control of Vaccine Preventable Diseases in China, from Polio to COVID-19” on April 19, 2023. Dr. Rodewald is a pediatrician and serves as the senior advisor to the National Immunization Program of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. He received the 2023 Alumni Humanitarian Award from the College of LAS for his dedication to improving children’s access to life-saving vaccines.
