Andrew Gleason, coordinator of video production in Public Affairs, will talk about how to create compelling videos by exploring the fundamentals of composition and lighting. He'll share key tips for any budget.
Andrew is an award-winning director, cinematographer, editor and producer, who loves creating and watching movies. He graduated from Illinois and has been a part of Video Services for nine years. He is an active member in the local film community, creating films and volunteering for Pens to Lens, the Champaign-Urbana Film Society and Champaign Movie Makers. When he isn’t making movies, he is spending time sharing his love for movies with his two children, Eva and Liam.

As of the upgrade and going forward all videos play on mediaspace in the new player. Also since the upgrade any video you embed in Canvas or elsewhere, with the built-in tools in Canvas or the embed code from mediaspace, will play with the new player. However, any videos embedded anywhere before the update will continue to play in Player 2.
To take advantage of the new player, and use a fully-supported player, we urge you to re-embed videos in Canvas or elsewhere, retracing the steps you took the first time.
