Description: Departments and colleges throughout the University are implementing Google Analytics 4 and discovering it is a major redirection in data gathering and reporting. Over the past year we have been sharing best practices and experiences from the implementation of GA4 at the University Library. Now we want to take time to address your questions and concerns.
Bios:
Aaron Collie is the Manager for Privacy Engineering within the Office of the CIO. He has 12 years of application development experience as the product owner of agile development teams. In addition, Aaron teaches, writes, and consults on the topics of privacy, data, and agility in information-intensive professions. Prior to joining the University of Illinois, Aaron worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and at Michigan State University.
John Laskowski has worked as the User Experience & Web Strategy Coordinator for the University of Illinois Library since 2017. Prior to that John spend 18 years as a knowledge manager in the publishing industry. He is a 1998 graduate of the University of Illinois Graduate School of Library and Information Science.
Helen Zhou has been with the University Library for over fifteen years. Currently she works at the Library IT as an Electronic Access Specialist. In this position, she develops the web presence of the Library, provides IT consultation and support, and serves as an IT Accessibility Liaison. She has a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Previously she worked at the University of Toronto Library as the East Asian Information Services Librarian and Gift & Exchange Coordinator. Outside of work, Helen enjoys swimming, experimenting with healthy cooking, and listening to podcasts.
