Jeff has been using video for his classes for awhile using his webcam. He's mainly done announcements and other communications until now. Since COVID 19 altered everybody's teaching, Jeff decided to jump into deep-end of the video pool! In this episode of Gies Teaching Stories, Jeff discusses his goal of creating evergreen content that can repeatedly be used in his classes even though he's not teaching fully online. His goal is to bring something into the class that better gets a topic across because it's based in the real world. That's why Jeff has not done videos in a studio or in his office but rather he's gone on location to situate his teaching topics in the community.
