The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Campuswide Doctoral Hooding Ceremony. Live streamed May, 2018 from the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, Foellinger Great Hall, Urbana, Illinois. 

The doctorate. The highest degree from the the University of Illinois. Represents the culmination of years of commitment, dedication & work. This ceremony includes comments from Chancellor Robert J. Jones, Provost Andreas Cangellaris, and Wojtek Chodzko-Zajko, Dean of the Graduate College. 

Deans from each college and school are present to congratulate students on their achievements. The focus of the ceremony is the formal "hooding" of doctoral degree recipients, often by faculty advisers.
