This session will explore some key dimensions of inclusivity in online learning, including accessible content, clear facilitation, and enhancing student belonging online. Through a combination of theoretical perspectives, practical tips, and opportunities for self-reflection, we will consider ways to enhance online learning that encourage and enable all students to engage.

Emma Kennedy, University of Greenwich
Emma is a Senior Lecturer in Higher Education Learning and Teaching at the University of Greenwich. She has worked in higher education for over ten years, including seven years’ teaching on distance learning programmes, primarily those focused on the development of pedagogy. At Greenwich, Emma leads on the development of central staff training around accessibility and inclusivity, as well as running her own distance-learning programme in Higher Education pedagogy and conducting research into topics that include student experience and staff cohort identity.
