Wheelchair Athletics Performance Testing at ILLINOIS | College of Applied Health Sciences

To start the fall semester, second-year Health and Kinesiology Assistant Professor Matt Hanks and the graduate students of the Disability & Movement Biomechanics Lab brought in members of the Illinois wheelchair athletics teams for a variety of performance and shoulder health tests.

The College of Applied Health Sciences filmed and interviewed students and staff from the men’s and women’s wheelchair basketball teams, along with collaborators from Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES), to learn more about this budding athletics and research partnership at ILLINOIS.
