Title: Diction - Plosives
Description: A common diction most people have is to not hit or articulate plosive
sounds. Plosives are t,d,k, g, p, b. These sounds are produced very similarly. Say tuh,
duh. What’s the difference? Right—it’s where you position your tongue. Now puh, buh. The
difference? Right, how you position your lips. It’s easier to make the duh sound than the
tuh sounds. And easier to make the buh sound than puh sound. So what happens is when
speaking we pronounce the easier sound instead of the correct one.
