CS 491 - Professional Development Seminar | Alumni Panel: Tips from the Other Side

This session features UIUC CS alumni who will share their experiences and lessons they have learned along the way. They will provide advice about what you can do while still in school to best prepare for the next stage of your career, what kinds of internships and projects provide the best experiences, and, looking back now, what do they wish they had done when in school but didn't? They also share their thoughts about topics such as how important is the first (or second or third...) job, which are the most important criteria to consider when selecting a position, and generally share their tips for success.
