EXT MarCom: Creating Radio PSAs and Scripts

Repetition is important for broadcasting. You're fighting for people's attention, so say it, repeat it, and end with it. When preparing the text content:

• Use Courier 12 pt.
• Use all caps
• Double space lines
• Use present tense
• Include pronouncers

When formatted in this fashion, a full page = 1 minute of content.  Broadcasters look for stories that are 20 seconds, 30 seconds, or 60 seconds.
