Become a Dementia Friend

Seven million Americans have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and many more have other forms of dementia that affects their independence and well-being. Attend this training to become a Dementia Friend and learn what it is like living with dementia and the simple things one can do to provide support and practical action to help someone living in their community. This training is part of Illinois Dementia Friends and Dementia Friendly Illinois: a member of the Dementia Friendly America Network.
